Founded in 2012 as Fruit Project LLC, the Global Marketing Project emerged after seven years of collaborative work on the IFC (World Bank Group) project ‘Development of the Fruit and Berry Sector in the Vinnytsia Region’. For a decade, our team has provided professional advice to stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including fruit and vegetable producers and other product manufacturers. We engaged international consultants, organized specialized training events and professional tours abroad, prepared market analyses and business plans, and assisted in finding partners. We utilized the best international practices and approaches, combining the efforts of various sector stakeholders both in Ukraine and abroad to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers.

We planned to export textile products to Poland, and it was important for us to understand how to navigate this path, as we had no prior experience in exporting products under our own brand (we had only worked under private labels with buyers from some European countries) and felt a shortage of personnel. Our company previously had limited export experience – only small orders from Germany and Latvia. The main challenges we faced in exporting were underdeveloped marketing, lack of specialists, and insufficient experience.

It was a great pleasure to work with the Global Marketing Project team of consultants during our participation in several projects – Trade UP and Ukrainian HoReCa Exportwave. The support of the consultant team played a key role at each implementation stage of our projects.
In the Trade UP project, the result of our cooperation was an export business plan developed individually for our company. In the Ukrainian HoReCa Exportwave project, together with the Global Marketing Project experts, we identified the main target markets, researched and segmented the HoReCa sector in selected countries, analyzed the import structure, determined the main product requirements, such as certification and packaging/labeling standards.
